MomentCraft (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website momentcraft.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Email address (used to deliver your speech or game link)
• Name of the person your speech or game is about (used to personalize content)
• Responses to interview questions (used to generate your speech)
• Game customization inputs (used to generate game clues and reveal messages)
• Recipient names for group games

Information collected automatically:

• Browser type and version
• Device type
• Pages visited and time spent
• Referring URL
• IP address (anonymized for analytics)

Information we do NOT collect or store:

• Credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full payment information.
• Government-issued identification
• Social Security numbers

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate personalized speeches and game content based on your inputs
• Deliver your completed speech or game via email and web link
• Process payments through Stripe
• Send you a receipt and access link for your purchase
• Improve our services and fix technical issues
• Respond to support inquiries

We do NOT use your information to:

• Train AI models. Your interview responses, speech content, and game content are not used to train or fine-tune any artificial intelligence models.
• Sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes
• Send unsolicited marketing emails
• Create user profiles for advertising

AI-Generated Content

MomentCraft uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) to generate speech and game content based on your inputs. Your inputs are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's data usage policies apply to this processing. Per Anthropic's API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train their models.

We do not store or review the raw AI-generated output beyond what is necessary to deliver your product and provide customer support.

Data Sharing

We share your information only with the following service providers, solely for the purpose of delivering our services:

• Stripe - Payment processing
• Anthropic - AI content generation via API
• Supabase - Database hosting and storage
• Vercel - Website hosting
• Resend - Email delivery

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

Data Retention

• Speech content: Stored for 90 days from purchase date. After 90 days, your speech link expires and the content is no longer accessible.
• Game content: Stored for 1 year from purchase date. After 1 year, your game link expires and the content is no longer accessible.
• Email addresses: Retained for the duration of your content's active period, then deleted within 30 days of expiration.
• Interview responses: Retained for the duration of your speech's active period, then deleted with the speech content.
• Payment records: Retained by Stripe per their data retention policies. We store only transaction metadata (product type, tier, amount) for our records.

Cookies and Analytics

We may use analytics tools (such as PostHog) to understand how visitors use our site. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies to collect anonymized usage data. This data helps us improve the user experience and does not personally identify you.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the core functionality of our services.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your personal data by emailing support@momentcraft.io
• Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Opt out of any future communications

Children's Privacy

MomentCraft is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@momentcraft.io and we will promptly delete it.

Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure database storage, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which it is used, and the third parties with whom it is shared. We do not sell personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.

European Residents (GDPR)

Our legal basis for processing your data is contractual necessity (to deliver the product you purchased) and legitimate interest (to improve our services).
